Epson is a very popular name for a printer brand. These devices are very robust and the user can configure these devices easily with various devices. In PCs, you can use the cable for the printer configuration. On other devices, users can connect to the printer wirelessly. Some devices allow Bluetooth connection whereas in some devices you can use the router for printer connection. While connecting, few users face an Epson printer network issue.

Troubleshooting Epson Printer Network Error

Restart the Printer

When the Epson printer is showing a network error, you should restart the device. The Epson device can get into error when it gets into any runtime issue. You can easily fix these errors by restarting the device. When the Epson printer is ON, remove the power cable. Now reconnect the cable after 20 seconds. Your Epson printer and its services will restart. Press the Wi-Fi button on your printer and try to connect it to your network. 

Run a Printer Troubleshooter

My Epson printer won t print when some of the printer files are not working. You have to run the troubleshooter and it will inspect all the printer related files. Go to the computer and open the Update and Security page. Tap on Troubleshooter and select Printer. Now the troubleshooting utility tool will start inspecting the printer files. If any file is broken, the troubleshooter will fix it. Now check for network connection issues. 

Reset the Router

The printer can face issues while connecting to the network if the router is not working. Sometimes, the router settings are not correct due to which the printer can’t connect to it. Disconnect all the devices and then reset the router. Create a new password and then connect the devices. Open the printer and try to reconnect it to the router. For the printer connection, check the WPS pin. Restart the pin and press the Wi-Fi button on the Epson printer. Now select the network name and configure the printer to the network.

Reconfigure the Epson printer

Sometimes, the printer gets into issues due to configuration issues. The user has configured the printer to the wrong network. This issue appears when there are other open networks. Go to the Epson printer and disable the Wi-Fi button. Now check the router and enable the WPS pin. On the printer, restart the Wi-Fi button. You will see the network’s name. Select the correct name for the connection. After the connection, take a configuration printout and check the network name and printer status.

Reset the Epson Printer

The user can get into network issues when the Epson network settings are wrong. While making changes, the user sometimes interrupts the network settings. For fixing the error, the user has to reset the printer. But when you reset the printer all its settings will be reverted. You have to configure the printer again. Even the password will be reset. 

  1. Go to Epson printer Control Panel
  2. Click on Home and select Setup 
  3. Tap on Restore default settings and hit on OK button
  4. Now click on Restore Network Settings and tap on the OK button

When you restart the printer, all its settings will be reset. Create a printer network connection and take the printouts.

Check the Epson Printer Driver

If the printer driver is corrupted, you can’t configure the printer correctly. The user has to check the printer driver and fix it. Open PC and then click on Epson printer driver. If the driver is not working then repair the files. You can run the driver repair program on the device. You can reinstall the driver on PC. Remove the corrupted Epson driver and restart the PC. Now download the same Epson driver setup from the web.

Install the new driver and now check the errors. After finding the correct driver, your Epson will start working. Reconnect the Epson printer to correct the network and then go to the PC. Now search the Epson printer on available printer devices. Choose the printer name and provide its password. After the connection, take the printouts with the Epson device.
